The village Norddal has approximately 200 inhabitants. Beautifully located in between mountains and fjord with easy access to the nature. Agriculture is important to the local economy. The Village is split in two by Storelva, a large stream where people often fish for salmon. The river runs to the fjord, which is to great pleasure for all who live here.

The church in Norddal was built in 1782, and it is the first octagonal church in the area.

Herdalssetrais a vivid mountain farm with 400 goats during the
summer months. Here you can rent accommodation in a cabin, which is a primitive but very special experience. It's the perfect starting point if you enjoy the mountains.
Rellingsetra and Innsetsetra are less known mountain farms, but not any less beautiful. The Norddal sports group is in ownership of a
hut on Rellingsetra that can be taken in use by anyone.
